Genesis What You Make of It.

In the beginning, there was man. He was alone in his universe and it was good. But on the first day, man realized he had no idea what he was doing here and he said "So that I can't see what I am doing wrong and so that no one can see the wrong things that I do, let there be darkness". And it was dark. Man saw what he had done and said "This is bad". And it was really bad.

On the second day, man saw that the darkness he created would not hamper him so long as he was not afraid of it and he said "So that my deeds and misdeeds do not progress too quickly, let there be obstacles". And the obstacles rose up in his path. Man saw what he had done and said "This sucks!" And it truly sucked.

On the third day, seeing that his potential was still limitless, man said "Just in case I find my way through these obstacles in the dark, there must still be things I cannot do. So, let there be boundaries." And the walls rose up around the darkened obstacles. Man saw what he had done and said "This is fucked up!" And he was fucked, big time.

On the fourth day, man saw the shambles he had made of everything and, knowing that someone had to be be blamed on someone, he said "So that none of this gets pinned on me, let there be God." And there was God. Seeing that he really stepped in it this time, man chose to keep his trap shut for once.

And on the fifth day, man rested. Because actually, from the beginning, all he ever really wanted was a three day weekend.
